How to Measure
In order to select the correct clothing size, Louis Vuitton recommends you take the following measurements using a soft tape measure. If necessary, ask someone else to help.
Pass the tape measure around your neck at its widest point (discounting the Adam’s apple). Do not pull the tape measure too tight: you should be able to slip a finger between the tape measure and your neck.
2. Shoulder width
Pass the tape measure straight across from the tip of one shoulder to the other, just above your shoulder blades
Pass the tape measure across your back, under your arms and over your breastbone at its widest point, taking care to keep the tape measure horizontal. It should sit snugly against your body, but should not be pulled too tight.
4. Sleeve Length
Keeping your arm straight by your side, measure from the tip of your shoulder to the base of your thumb.Measurement Unit: US (inch) | World (cm) | Both

How to measure without a ruler or tape measure?
If you don't have a ruler or tape measure handy, you can try to measure with a standard credit card, which has a width of 3 ⅜ inch or 8.56 cm and a height of 2 ⅛ inch or 5.4 cm.
If you do a lot of online apparel shopping, accurate body measurement using a tape measure is a must. The actual tape you choose doesn’t matter that much. This retractable one is very easy to use, and the fact it uses both CM and IN is extremely helpful.
